Queenstown, Nueva Zelanda

Hola niños. En el mes de marzo pasé dos semanas en la isla sureña de Nueva Zelanda. El país está en el sur del mundo cerca de Australia y es muy, muy hermoso. Hay muchos lagos, montañas, ríos y cascadas. La foto más arriba es de Queenstown. La segunda foto y el video fueron tomados en un fiordo llamado Milford Sound. Es uno de los lugares más espectaculares que he visto.

Hi kids. In March I spent two weeks on the south island of New Zealand. This country is in the southern hemisphere near Australia and is very, very beautiful. There are many lakes, mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. The top photo was taken in Queenstown. The second photo and video were taken in a place called Milford Sound. It is one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever seen.

El Sur de Chile

Hola niños. Pasé tres meses con mis amigos en Chile. Fuimos a ver un volcán y un río con una cascada muy hermosa. Para que sepan, hay más de 2.000 volcanes en Chile en una cordillera llamada Los Andes. Además, cuando nosotros tenemos invierno en San Francisco, los chilenos tienen verano. Por eso, hizo mucho calor allí durante mi visita en diciembre, enero y febrero.

Hi kids. I spent three months with my friends in Chile. We went to a volcano and to a river with a beautiful waterfall. Just so you know, there are more than 2,000 volcanos in Chile within a mountain range called the Andes. Also, when we have winter in San Francisco, the people in Chile are in summer. That’s why it was hot during my visit in December, January, and February.

Jerusalén, Israel

¡Hola niños! No lo tenía planificado, pero al final volé a Israel y visité Jerusalén. Es una ciudad sagrada para gente de tres religiones importantes: los cristianos, los judíos y los musulmanes. La primera foto muestra la Roca de la Cúpula que es una mesquita muy importante para los musulmanes. La segunda foto muestra la Puerta de Damasco que es una entrada al centro viejo de Jerusalén. La tercera foto muestra el Jardín de Olivos donde Jesús pasó una noche rezando antes de ser arrestado por los Romanos.

Hi kids! I hadn’t planned it, but in the end I flew to Israel and visited Jerusalem. It is a sacred city for the people of three important religions: Christians, Jews, and Muslims. The first photo shows the Rock of the Dome, which is a very important mosque for Muslims. The second photo shows the Damascus Gate leading to Old Jerusalem. The third photo shows the Garden of Olives where Jesús passed a night praying before being arrested by the Romans.

Transilvania, Rumania

¡Hola niños! Hace algunas semanas estuve en Transilvania, Rumania. Es un país muy hermoso con muchas montañas y comida deliciosa llamada goulash. También es donde comenzó el mito de Drácula que fue un personaje inventado por un escritor irlandés.

Hi kids! A few weeks ago I was in Transylvania, Romania. It is a very beautiful country with a lot of mountains and yummy food called goulash. It is also where the myth of Dracula began who was actually a character made up by an Irish writer.

Ölüdeniz, Turquía

Hola niños. Hoy hice parapente en un lugar llamado Ölüdeniz en Turquía. ¡Fue súper divertido!

Hi kids. Today I went paragliding in a place called Ölüdeniz in Turkey. It was super fun! 

Cappadocia, Turquía

Hola niños. Ayer subí en globo durante el amanecer en un lugar llamado Cappadocia en Turquía. Fue muy, muy hermoso. Pueden ver vídeos de mi viaje abajo. 

Hi kids. Yesterday I went up in a hot air balloon at sunrise in a place called Cappadocia in Turkey. It was very, very beautiful. You can see videos below of my ride. 

Pučišća, Croacia

Hola niños. Pasé una semana en un pueblo muy pequeño y hermoso en una isla de Croacia. El pueblo se llama Pučišća y la isla se llama Brač. Este pueblo es muy famoso por una escuela donde preparan una pierda blanca para estatuas. Incluso esa piedra fue usada para construir la Casa Blanca en Washington D.C..

Hi kids. I spent a week in a very small and pretty village on an island in Croatia. The village is called Pučišća and the island is called Brač. This village is famous for a school where young people prepare white stone for statues. In fact, this stone was used to build the White House in Washington D.C..
